About ISiyoyisile Indlala Community Farm and Projects
Siyoyisile Indlala Community Farm and Projects, situated at Faranani Primary School in Protea Glen, is a poverty alleviation program committed to empowering impoverished community members through skill-building initiatives and material support. Utilizing mixed farming techniques, the organization grows a variety of vegetables and raises livestock while employing innovative "deep trenching" methods for organic waste decomposition, resulting in nutrient-rich soil fertilizer. Siyoyisile Indlala Farm sells the harvested produce within the community, feeding both training participants and farm workers, and also produces Concentrated Liquid Fertilizer (CLF) from organic waste for sale to nearby farms.
Mission
To initiate and implement programmmess aimed at providing comprehensive support to orphans, vulnerable children to improve their standard of living which will help them regain their self-worth and esteem also considering terminally sick people due to HIV/AIDS and the poverty striken communities to have a full access of govermental resources and service not directly offered to them.
Vision
Is to provide psyco-social support services to the women and families who have been affected GBV and affected and infected by HIV/AIDS pandemic and reduce vulnerability amongst the community through various programmes that will improve their socio-economic status.

Siyoyisile Indlala Community Farm and Projects” meaning we have overcome hunger”: This program provide Agricultural programs for primary and high school youth in the Soweto area. That teaches school children from grade R to grade 7, youth and elderly women and girls at Faranani Primary School Protea glen extinction 11, that teach them Food preservation, Agro-processing, Germination, Soil preparation, inter cropping, Composting, Food gardening, Organic Farming, Rabbit Farming, Food Waste Management and this program it runs six days a week, public holidays, school holidays and it also provides meal a day. And also do Agricultural awareness at different communities. And this program survives buy selling organic vegetables, organic liquid manures/fertilizer, pesticides, organic seedlings that they produce at the farm. This program encourages communities to have their own food gardens at their own homes.

And this year 2024 the program has been certified as organic producers. Throughout her journey, Nthabiseng has faced numerous challenges, including limited resources, scepticism from some community members, and self-doubt. However, she has learned valuable lessons from these experiences: 1. Perseverance: Nthabiseng has developed a strong sense of resilience and perseverance, which has allowed her to overcome obstacles and stay committed to her vision. 2. Collaboration: She has learned the importance of building strong partnerships with like-minded individuals and organizations to amplify her impact. 3. Self-care: Nthabiseng has prioritized self-care, recognizing that burnout can hinder her ability to make a meaningful difference.
MEET NTHABISENG MKHIZE
Mrs Nthabiseng Mkhize is a renowned social entrepreneur, educator, and advocate for women’s empowerment. Born and raised in an underprivileged neighbourhood, Nthabiseng’s journey to success was marked by resilience and determination. She overcame personal struggles and societal barriers to become a leading figure in promoting gender equality and inclusivity.
Nthabiseng ‘s academic background in education and farming laid the foundation for her passion project, “Siyoyisile Indlala Community Farm and Projects,” a non-profit company aimed at empowering underprivileged women, girls, children, elderly people, youth through education, mentorship, and community engagement. She spent years working with local schools, communities, and grassroots organizations to develop and implement programs that addressed the specific needs of marginalized communities
